The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look unsuited, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the team access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This means them few options but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
